Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang rejects defeatist foreign market withdrawal

0

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang addressed international competition in a circulating Stanford video clip. He rejected the view that U.S. firms should avoid foreign markets when defeat appears possible and insisted that competitors must actively surpass his company. Huang cited concrete GPU applications in video games, logistics and medical imaging, while dismissing atomic bomb analogies. The remarks referenced his earlier Dwarkesh podcast discussion.

Nuke might not be good analogy but "master reverse engineer" or "extremely talented biochemists", "polymath virologist", "IMO gold-medalist" is not an understatement of state of GPUs.

You cant think "LLMs are very close to general intelligent with massive capability" and "sending gpus to enemy regime is fine" at the same time.

Dont forget WW2 was won largely by decrypting enigma code, work of team of talented researchers.

Would people be OK with selling bunch of extremely capable researchers to China
