Two X users describe a surge of suspected AI replies just after posting

Two X users described receiving more replies they identified as AI-generated. In September 30 posts, @levelsio complained that the replies had worsened over the preceding few weeks and flooded posts within minutes. Santiago, @svpino, quoted that complaint and estimated that 90% of the AI replies he receives arrive shortly after posting. He wished for a way to mute every fast reply. These are the authors’ observations and suspicions, rather than a measured rate for X or proof that every rapid reply is an AI bot.
