ChatGPT announces new-chat shortcuts for desktop pets and a smaller Mini option
ChatGPT says Mini offers the same shortcuts and updates as its desktop pets while taking up less screen space. Users can choose a pet or Mini in the desktop app’s settings.
TLDR
ChatGPT announced on September 11 that users can start a new chat directly from their desktop pet. The company says pets help users keep track of chats while they’re away from the desktop app. It also introduced Mini as a smaller alternative with the same shortcuts and updates, selectable in the app’s settings.
