    TLDR

    Posts from Sarah Guo, Anthony Pompliano, Dylan Patel, Alexis Ohanian, Shaun Maguire, Harry Stebbings, and Jacob Rintamaki push back on online criticism of Leopold Aschenbrenner. They note he has banked billions in returns and still holds Anthropic, MatX, and Fluidstack positions. Harry Stebbings stated Leo made $BNs with $5BN left in Anthropic. Dylan Patel said critics get mogged by his returns this year. Sarah Guo observed that many detractors have never realized a dollar of returns themselves. Some posts also mention rumors circulating and predict strong results ahead for his work.

    @zephyr_z9Leopold still has Anthropic, MatX, and Fluidstack (Tier 1 private Cos) He can probably raise $2B-$3B more It's not over for him by any means
    @deliprao@zephyr_z9 bearish on anthropic for a number of reasons
    @HarryStebbingsLeo Aschenbrenner: Winners & Losers: Leo made $BNs and has $5BN left in Anthropic position. Ken Griffin makes out like a bandit, also. Feel sorry for the guys working for him. They have been hardest done by here.
    @benhylakdon't get too excited. leopold still has more money than you.
    @APomplianoI see a lot of people dunking on @leopoldasch, which feels like a classic internet mob looking for attention. Leo’s story is unreal. He went from relatively unknown technologist to one of the top hedge fund managers in the world in less than 5 years. His original Situational Awareness paper has been quite accurate, not to mention Leo’s ability to drive ridiculous investment returns for his investors through June. Losing 60%+ of your investors assets in a single month is obviously bad. Leverage is one of the most destructive forces in the world when things go against you. But let’s not forget that Leo still has a few billion dollars and a strong opinion of the future. If he is right, and he continues to play the risk-taking game, there is a high probability he will still create tens of billions of dollars in returns for his LPs. The internet mob can do all the dunking they want, but I wouldn’t bet against a smart, young guy who now has something to prove.
    @andrewgwils@ziv_ravid Haha, he has a pretty solid investment track record over about 7 years. This is also looking increasingly like a coordinated hostile takeover, via shorts and fear mongering, rather than a bad judgement on fundamentals.
    @saranormousyes, markets/risk management lessons to be learned, but many of the folks dunking on Leopold have never realized a dollar of returns. he has, and now he’s banked them. respect where due
    @alexisohanian@saranormous for real
    @shaunmmaguire@saranormous @alexisohanian Agree
    @dylan522pLove that all FinTwit people making fun of Leopold still get mogged by his returns this year. Leopold is a great guy and he's extremely in tune with where the world is headed.
