Claude Fable 5 is getting a one-week subscriber trial with a strict 50% usage ceiling.
Pro, Max, Team, and premium Enterprise users can use up to 50% of your weekly subscription limits on Claude Fable 5 at no extra cost.
Once that Fable 5 slice is gone, the free part of access ends.
Users can then pay with usage credits, or switch back to another Claude model.
The catch is that earlier model use shrinks how much Fable 5 remains available.
So a user already halfway through the weekly limit gets only that remaining half.
API users are outside this offer, so developer usage still follows standard separate billing.
