Dallas Fed Ties GenAI Exposure to Fewer Texas Jobs

Machine learning engineer Rohan Paul posted that the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas released a report on Texas firms. It found those with higher GenAI exposure posted 8-9% fewer jobs. Exposure was measured by mapping O*NET tasks to actual Claude usage and linking the scores to millions of Lightcast online postings. By Q1 2025, more-exposed occupations had about 8% fewer postings.
