OpenAI Engineer Requests Voice Notes Tab in ChatGPT

Will Depue posted on X that he wants the ChatGPT product team to add a Voice Notes tab. The tab would support arbitrary-length recordings, keep them organized, and let users bring them into chats using Whisper. He said half his ChatGPT usage comes from the speech-to-text button and that current tabs see almost no use. In a follow-up post he wrote that ChatGPT should replace his notes app because he constantly copies content from Apple Notes into chats.
