@levelsio@levelsioBuilding something outside of AI but applying AI to it is now much more competitive than just building another AI product I think20d
Matteo Franceschetti@m_franceschetti@levelsio Yes. Applying agents to a non-AI business with real customers to generate leverage and improv the bottom line is a great move.20d
Gergely Orosz@GergelyOroszGreat one. My side projects I put no focus on are as stalled as ever, regardless of how many half-hearted prompts I do with an AI bot Same for any type of work that matters any bit18d
Paul Graham@paulgA CS undergrad asked me where he could have most effect in the AI age. I said probably at either extreme: either close to the technology, actually making LLMs, or close to the customer, using AI to give them exactly what they want. Or maybe both if you can stretch that far.18d
will brown@willcb@paulg both is good18d
Prithviraj (Raj) Ammanabrolu@rajammanabroluExactly! I'm the busiest I've ever been and that's including grad school, 2 pre seed startups + 1 late stage. Just a lot more you can get done on a daily basis now and that's very motivating18d
Peter H. Diamandis, MD@PeterDiamandisNotice what these have in common. Nobody built a chatbot. They each found a place where the work was expensive, slow, or simply unavailable to most people, and put AI where the bottleneck was.18d
Christian Keil@pronounced_kyleI spoke to some MBAs recently, and this was my provocation: You are here to become big important CEOs some day... but given modern AI tools, you kinda already are one! Everyone has a company of smart people in their pocket now. So why wait? Start acting like a CEO now!18d
eve@eve_bouffhow can we dream bigger17d
Evan Tana@evantanaAI is creating a Jevons paradox of ambition. The easier it gets to build, the more ambitious the things the best people decide to build. Feels like we’re watching this happen in real time at @spc .17d
