topk-embed-v1 debuts with open-source and hosted text-and-image embedding models

Topk introduced topk-embed-v1 as a family of open-source and hosted text-and-image embedding models. It claims the models’ representations compress enough to allow large-scale serving with storage comparable to dense baselines. A separate post sharing the announcement says the 0.8B and 2B models are open-source and describes the lineup as multilingual and multi-vector.
