I'm actually so fucking mad. The only interesting thing for me to do with smarter models is novel architectural research outside of the transformer paradigm. Which is being hard blocked by Anthropic. Even I didn't realize how bad things really are.

it's not just anthropic. they're ALL doing it under the false flag of safety.
I've been building neuro-symbolic ai and cognitive architectures since 2002.
Anthropic is only the first to admit what they've been doing since 2023.

I get your point. But look at it as a favor. They're blocking you from obvious stuff and it probably carries no value.
I don't have this issue, because I'm doing things so far ahead, it's nowhere near there map pf what to block. This is the sweet spot.
