Team roles in an AGI future: “barrels” versus “bullets”

Drawing on a classification of company employees as “barrels” or “bullets” that it credits to Rabois, one post argues that artificial general intelligence would leave no room for humans in “bullet” roles. Those roles would belong to agents; every human team member would need to be a “barrel.”
