    TLDR

Santiago Valdarrama posted that a book titled Agentic Coding with OpenAI Codex CLI contains everything needed to reach top 1% skill with Codex. He reported starting the book the previous week and already learning more tricks in a few days than in the prior two months. Valdarrama noted his background included extensive Claude Code experience before switching to Codex. The post links to the Amazon page for the title, which describes workflows built with Agentic Engineering, MCP, hooks, and delivery automation.

@svpinoEverything you need to become a Top 1% using Codex is in this book. I started reading it last week and haven't finished yet, but I've already learned more tricks in a few days than I did in the last 2 months. I considered myself somewhat of an "advanced" user (most of my experience was in Claude Code when I moved to Codex, but a lot of it translates nicely). This book humbled me. It's full of patterns and tricks to help you get the most out of agentic coding. It also breaks down nicely the different workflows you could use to tackle a problem.
