    TLDR

A user nearing 35,000 LinkedIn followers says they instructed @bot to monitor their Twitter posts and copy anything they had not already shared on LinkedIn. The prompt tells the bot to adjust tags and formatting for LinkedIn while skipping reposts and quote tweets. The user later found many notifications after returning to LinkedIn, but the post does not connect those notifications or the follower count to the automation.

Sarah Chieng@MilksandMatchaAlmost hit 35,000 linkedin followers :) I've never been super active on LinkedIn and frankly do not enjoy posting on LinkedIn much. One trick I started recently is using @bot to monitor my Twitter and automatically repost everything to LinkedIn. Prompt: '' From now on, everything that you see me post on Twitter, if I don't already cross-post it to LinkedIn, I need you to cross-post it to LinkedIn for me. Make sure to adjust any tags or formatting for the LinkedIn tags and audience. Do NOT copy reposts or quote tweets from twitter to linkedin.'' I actually totally forgot about this, checked LinkedIn for the first time in forever, and was like why do I have so many notifications haha.3h
