    TLDR

A user shared an excerpt attributed to Barron’s Al Root revisiting his assessment of SpaceX’s February merger with xAI. “We said that SpaceX was the big loser,” Root is quoted saying. “Now, it looks as if SpaceX shareholders were the winners.” He credits faster-than-expected revenue growth with radically changing near-term earnings forecasts and long-term cash flow projections.

@SawyerMerrittBarron's Al Root: Boy, we were wrong about SpaceX. "We said that SpaceX was the big loser in its February merger with xAI. Now, it looks as if SpaceX shareholders were the winners. Revenue has simply accelerated faster than anyone expected. That growth has radically altered near-term earnings forecasts and long-term cash flow projections; As Mark Twain says, we’ll admit that error in forecasting, so we can move on to the next thing we don’t get quite right." Like with most things early on, a lot of people struggle to understand or believe in Elon’s vision. But more often than not, he ends up proving the doubters wrong. Nice to see Al admitting he was wrong. More mainstream media should follow his lead. Full article: https://www.barrons.com/articles/spacex-stock-valuation-ai-e1607713
