Vlogger @levelsio reportedly used Claude Code to cut 14 DJI clips into a roughly 10-minute vlog

According to @levelsio, they copied the clips into a folder and asked Claude Code to make the vlog. They said the process transcribed their speech with mlx-whisper, pulled video frames into grids called contact sheets and used SpeechBrain ECAPA to distinguish their voice from others. Claude Code then chose segments by reading the transcripts and looking at the frame grids, they wrote, recording each clip’s start and end times in a JSON list of cuts.

Their description of the vlog as “fully edited” by Claude Code came with a qualification: @levelsio said they made a few adjustments and added captions for X and for the first minute on YouTube using Pillow. They also pointed readers to a post with the words “Here it is.” For @levelsio, the appeal was personal. They said they would not be vlogging without AI because editing would be slow for them and hiring someone would be more hassle.
