AI agent reportedly performs brain surgery on a mouse with veterinarian overseeing key steps

OcanaSantero, who described coordinating the experiment, reported that an AI agent chose from 19 gene therapy vectors, selected a brain region and used a motorized rig to inject a mouse model of epilepsy. The goal was to reduce seizures. The coordinator said a licensed veterinarian gated every irreversible step and held a physical kill switch.
