@HumanHarlanFive things I want to say to anyone who is just recently learning about the alarming situation with AI: 1. I'm so sorry you have to carry this weight. It really sucks. 2. Be kind to yourself and take breaks from thinking about this stuff when and if you need to. 3. You are not alone. Lots of people are starting to pay attention to what's going on. 4. This is an issue that affects everyone, and you have just as much of a right to speak up and use your voice as anyone else. 5. The situation is not hopeless. If we act quickly and work together, we have a real fighting chance of steering to a safer path than the one we're on now.
