Finnie financial-aid tool featured in a Codex video introduced at OpenAI Dev Day

A Finnie creator says they and a collaborator built an app for finding spontaneous hangouts on a college campus during an iOS app-building competition using Codex. After winning the ChatGPT student grant, they filmed a commercial about how Codex helped them build Finnie, a financial-aid tool intended to help students attend college for free. The creator says Sam Altman introduced the video onstage at OpenAI Dev Day, where they also had a Codex Originals booth.
