    @Miles_Brundage@TaylorLorenz Isn’t the equivalent on the other side just the comms, government relations, etc. teams at the companies (who make vastly more $ than ppl working at these nonprofits)?3h
    @TaylorLorenzNope because these non profits and EA orgs form a vast network that’s significantly larger (and more profitable) than doing policy work at an AI co for example, which is often a revolving door right back into the EA industrial complex. There is just so so so much EA money— and there’s about to be even more. It’s unfathomable!3h
