Artificial Analysis says GPT Image 2.5 models take the top two spots on both its image leaderboards

Artificial Analysis reported on September 11 that OpenAI’s GPT Image 2.5 Flare and Sunburst held the top two places on both its image leaderboards. It said the largest gains over GPT Image 2 were in editing, particularly composition and framing, followed by text or symbol edits. Sunburst led 8 of its 10 image-editing use cases, it said. For 1024 × 1024 images, the evaluator estimated that both models at “max” quality had the same output price as GPT Image 2 at “high” quality.
