Ramanujan's formulas linked to torus knots

Scientific American reports that mathematicians found a connection between knots and formulas by Srinivasa Ramanujan. Axiom says two of his identities are the simplest cases of an infinite family, with one for every torus knot. The company says AxiomProver helped prove a theorem about those identities, and that it and Yifeng Huang proved the Huang-Jiang-Oblomkov conjecture.
