Citrini Therapeutics Uses Anthropic Model to Design Potential Scorpion Antivenom Proteins
Citrini says lab tests found 17 designs bound scorpion toxins, including two that bound tightly; toxin-blocking remains untested.
TLDR
Citrini Research says it spent three months working with Anthropic’s internal research model to design proteins targeting scorpion toxins. It sent 211 designs for lab synthesis and testing; 17 bound their targets across four of five toxins, including two that bound tightly. None has yet been tested for whether it stops toxin activity, so the designs remain potential antivenom candidates.
