@AndrewCurran_Good morning, Gemini 3.8 Flash should arrive in the next few hours. SoC Lutnick confirmed to CNBC this morning that semiconductor tariffs are incoming. Tom Brown is speaking at the G20 and just said within 12 months models will be as capable as a once in a generation scientist.
@kimmonismusAnthropic’s Tom Brown: “My prediction is that within the next 12 months, AI could become a once-in-a-generation scientist in key scientific fields.” If you thought AI was slowing down or that we had already reached its peak, you couldn’t be more wrong. We barely started.
@wolfejoshthe genius behind Lux family co TRANSFYR @transfyrai is "TRANSFER learning" PAST humans use machines, instruments, tools to perform science NOW humans use machines to observe humans who use machines, instruments, tools to perform science humanity + science accelerated
@theojaffeeHoward Lutnick's interview of Tom Brown from earlier today is an interesting look into the Anthropic worldview
@krishnanrohit"15 orders or magnitude" it's extraordinary!!!

@andrew_n_carrI've had the pleasure to work in a lot of great organizations over time. One thing I've noticed that stands out is what I call "clarity of thought". It is evidenced in this conversation between Tom Brown and Howard Lutnick. It takes practice to thinking clearly enough to say important things. The message is consistent with what Anthropic believes and I think is optimistic. But the clarity of thought behind what Tom says is really something, aspirational really for anyone in leadership.
@_sholtodouglas@andrew_n_carr Yes exactly, won’t be new info for anyone in AI - but an excellent example of how to communicate clearly
