    TLDR

    Patrick Collison shared a six-question survey on the economics of AI. The poll collects forecasts for the US economy in 2031. Rohit Krishnan called the survey good and noted his responses were more optimistic than the San Francisco average. Will Brown predicted modest GDP growth alongside full humanoid robot automation. Ben Anderson registered a 3.75 percent growth forecast and discussed 50 million humanoid robots. Shital Shah observed that even San Francisco residents were not uniformly optimistic about AGI. The survey remains open for additional responses.

    @patrickcMade a quick survey about the economics of AI: https://next-five-years.vercel.app.
    @sytelus@patrickc Wow even SF population is not all that AGI pilled. I was about 5 deviations away from mean for almost everything lol.
    @krishnanrohitGood survey! Despite being left of median on many responses, turns out I'm more optimistic about AI than the SF mean.
    @andersonbcdefgregistering prediction: 3.75%. this would be very high relative to recent history
    @willcb@andersonbcdefg registering prediction; we spend a little bit more, GDP goes up a little, people mostly keep their jobs, but we also have full humanoid AGI robot automation
    @xeophon@willccbb @andersonbcdefg 50M robots in just 5 years is a lot
