Phonic introduces Phonic-1 speech-to-speech model, announces $27.5 million Series A

In an Oct. 29 post, @moinnadeem introduced Phonic-1 for speech-to-speech agent tasks and said Phonic raised a $27.5 million Series A. Artificial Analysis placed Phonic 1 (High) narrowly first on its Speech to Speech Index, while ranking it eighth for preference in blind live conversations. The evaluator reported availability through Phonic’s API at $0.07 per minute.
