Actually, @apples_jimmy I believe that was precisely the idea: to signal that they take these concerns seriously and are seeking a socially responsible solution—essentially positioning themselves as a global player (operating on the principle that even if they were to halt this development, others would simply carry it forward), yet one that nonetheless takes the consequences seriously.
