In an October 28 thread covering GitHub Universe 2026, a poster claimed Copilot Fusion offered roughly Opus 5.5's intelligence at 50% less cost and called it an impressive reveal. The thread also quoted a projects-related feature as spinning up as many agents as needed. Separately, another user judged GitHub Copilot with Opus 5.5 better than Claude Code with the same model.
