@Bitcoin_Teddy This is yet another example of how the word "Progressive" is an Orwellian misnomer. So many progressive policies inhibit or forbid progress.
It's called **corporatism** (or fascist corporatism).
Benito Mussolini put it plainly: "Fascism should more properly be called corporatism because it is the merger of state and corporate power." The state organizes favored corporations into a single structure to pursue one ideological/national vision and shuts out real competition.
