General Compute plans cluster-scale Positron AI deployment in its cloud

Positron AI is General Compute’s next partner for a planned cluster-scale deployment in its heterogeneous cloud. General Compute says the hardware will go live in Q1 2027, with the goal of bringing fast inference for open-source models to builders. The company predicts demand will outstrip supply for the next decade, but its announcement gives no cluster capacity or date for builders to use the hardware.
