Design could be ‘the new code’ as AI coding improves

A post quotes Figma’s CEO predicting that by October 2027, it will be obvious that ‘design is the new code.’ He argues that as coding models improve, code becomes material while decisions about brand, product design, marketing and strategy carry more value. He says designers could play a bigger role if they step up.
