Had a blast yesterday attending at @techeurope_'s Applied AI Conference in Berlin!
I had a talk about building document agents and agentic development in general, that you can find here: https://astrabert.github.io/agent-anatomy-presentation
Beyond my talk, I met lots of builders with an incredible energy and attended many interesting talks🚀
Here are my highlights:
- @rachelnabors on SLMs vs LLMs, why to choose the former and how to evaluate it... It was such a fun and interesting talk, I'm definitely gonna start checking out small models for my new projects
- @patloeber and Lucia Loher on optimization strategies for production AI systems: packed with great insights and also a reproducible code demo I am looking forward to unpack this weekend!
- @kagigz on Codex and the evolution towards long running and async agents: I'm really curious to try a few things mentioned in the talk for my next agentic project
- @vdgiselle talk on durable and distributable agentic workflows was truly a gem: I didn't know about Restate, but I can't wait to try it out for a project I'm working on (spoiler: 🦀 + 🤖)
And many other brilliant talks and speakers I might be forgetting now✨
Really great experience, can't wait for the next one!🇪🇺
