i thought the encyclical was fine enough but chunks of it seeming to be ai-generated, and certainly all the tweets around it having been, raises a lot of questions about papal infallibility that are quite uncomfortable

to launder a take from a much smarter friend of mine, it is probable that none of the encyclical is ai-written: it's just that this is what a boomer who’s been living in Peru thinks is good writing, having read many white papers from international organizations over the years
