Perplexity opens Computer’s email feature to anyone, with no account required

Perplexity says emailed tasks run as regular Computer sessions, viewable on web and mobile with the same audit trail as tasks in its app. In a September 30 post quoting the announcement, Arav Srinivas said anyone could delegate tasks by email without a Perplexity account. He said those tasks would be free for a limited time and that the agent would work in the background while keeping the email context.
