Oxford researchers correct claims attributing AI paper to NVIDIA

Oxford researchers corrected social media claims that a paper on scalable Evolution Strategies for AI training originated at NVIDIA. The work uses EGGROLL for efficient large-scale training without gradients or high-precision hardware. Edward Grefenstette stated that Oxford led the result.
