    TLDR

@signulll reported a conversation with an Anthropic employee who said hiring remains a top problem because few exceptional candidates exist for long-term high-conviction bets that are not yet obvious. The account noted a lack of people who can independently generate good ideas. In reply, @tinygrad from the tiny corp asked who would still join, claiming the company has caused itself major damage since last December and labeling it the evil team. Both statements appear only as social media posts with no further corroboration in the packet.

@signullltalked to a guy from anthropic for a long time last night. fascinating conversation. & believe it or not, one of their biggest problems is still hiring. there simply aren’t enough exceptional ppl, esp for long term high conviction bets where the stuff is not obvious yet. i.e. people who can independently generate good judgment under extreme ambiguity.
@__tinygrad__@signulll Who would still want to work there? They have hurt themselves so badly since last December, it's clearly the evil team.
