A user says they used Opus to convert OpenRouter's public token stats into dollar estimates. Multiplying one week's activity by 52, they calculated a roughly $1.5 billion annualized run rate, or about 1% of total inference spending by dollars. For that week, they estimated Anthropic accounted for 36% of spend, OpenAI 18% and open-weight models 26%.
