@mmitchell_aiFeel so bad for authors this happens to. Especially with how much work rebuttals are. Like easily 30 hours of work just on rebuttals these days.

@sethlazarHuge proportion of the rebuttals in position paper track were 100% ai. Also, reviewers of a given paper are not well calibrated. Borderline accepts like this *should* be calibrated against the track as a whole (which likely means lots will be rejected, because this kind of score is an attractor for reviewers who want to hedge, so there are disproportionately many papers at this level). If not borderline it’s a diff matter, but even then still sometimes nec to overrule credulous referees, including when, contrary to the policy, they used ai for their reports.
