Quest Diagnostics hack and patient data exposure alleged

On October 23, a user claimed Quest Diagnostics had been hacked and patient data exposed. They said an investigation was ongoing and that Quest serves roughly half of U.S. hospitals and physicians. Another user quoted the claim with a hypothetical about Claude hacking and leaking health records to cure cancer; the original poster called it “an excellent plot twist.”
