AI labs could reach $600 billion-plus in combined annual recurring revenue by the end of 2027 if demand is there

A post forecasts 10–12 GW of dedicated inference capacity by year-end 2027, with blended revenue per GW topping $60 billion.

    TLDR

A poster forecasts blended revenue per gigawatt above $60 billion, citing new hardware and efficiency gains, and 10–12 GW of dedicated inference capacity by the end of 2027. They say $600 billion-plus in combined AI lab annual recurring revenue is possible by then if demand is there. They also predict customer-facing agents that run for weeks and suggest Bel/Model 3-class models could accelerate R&D and eat into global R&D spending.

Zephyr@zephyr_z9Blended revenue per GW will pass $60B+ (due to new hardware and efficiency gains), and dedicated inference capacity should be around 10GW-12GW by EOY27 As long as demand is there, $600B+ in combined lab ARR by the end of 2027 is possible Automating more parts of knowledge work and coding will continue (persistent agents available to customers will run for weeks) Bel/Model 3 class models can accelerate R&D and eat into global R&D spending. This is the next big opportunity imo. We will start hearing more about this from late Q1 or early Q2 2027.39m
