    TLDR

    Sequoia managing partner Alfred Lin posted a memo written by Commure CEO Tanay Tandon. The memo presents speed as a core company value achieved via focused sprints and states that this approach preserves quality and rigor. Alexis Ohanian quoted the post and urged founders to print and display it. Other investors replied, including references to the Empire State Building's 410-day construction and past Sequoia advice given to LinkExchange. Paul Buchheit reposted a comment noting the opportunity in healthcare startups where speed is often dismissed.

    @apartovi@Alfred_Lin So true, Alfred. I remember getting similar advice from Mike Moritz of Sequoia back when he led our Series A at LinkExchange, almost 30 years ago.

    @davidmarcus1930's Americans were badasses. The regulatory landscape was also very different. No one would argue about building datacenters then, we would just BUILD.
    @shaunmmaguire@Alfred_Lin Great post!
    @chamathI remember it well.
