Datology Labs introduced as an open, collaborative data research initiative

Datology Labs’ organizer describes it as an open, collaborative initiative to define the science of data. They argue that data is underinvested in machine-learning research relative to its impact. In a follow-up, they say the initiative has already led work like DataSmith and will collaborate with academia, nonprofits and others. Datology also plans to host Labs Fellows for six months of exploratory, high-risk research.
