Who isn't watching WWDC?

I'm watching X and it seems like almost everyone is.

It already is more interesting than the last few years.

AI in almost every conversation and intro.

Some users are excited about the AI focus at this year's WWDC for sparking Siri app ideas and quick shipping, while many others call the event boring and criticize Apple for greedy upgrade tactics and dull presentations.

@aimanhasnoname New features need more powerful AI inferencing than was available on iPhone 16. But, yeah, does seem a little like some strategy taxes to get people to buy new phones.

@Scobleizer Too little too late. The fact that new features aren’t supported in iPhone 16 is just greedy. They got sued for false advertising, they owe consumers as much.

@Scobleizer Oh is it WWDC? The last few years were so dull I didn't even know it was happening.

@Scobleizer @altryne Thats what I was thinking too. My experience - At first I was very unimpressed, then I had to remember we are in the .5% bleeding edge echo chamber of whats possible right now. For the other 99.5% this is huge and tangible for everyday non agentic ai users.

@Scobleizer @aimanhasnoname most of the new stuff will run on server, not on device

@Scobleizer sorry Robert - no way. Those features can 100% run on an iPhone 16

@Scobleizer I would be if @Delta had a capable WiFi. It’s a joke! Can only follow via X posts. @elonmusk can you work with @TMobile on pushing signal through to us on the plane that already have TMobile and not be stuck on their garbage connection? Seems possible???
