“They’re looking to bring media organisations down.”

Peter Thiel, the billionaire co-founder of genocide-linked software company Palantir, is funding a new startup that allows rich customers to file complaints against journalists using AI.

Objection’s own co-founder Aron D’Souza predicts that journalists won’t exist in 20 years’ time.

“This all comes at a time when journalism is under threat like it’s never been under threat before,” says @MaloneBarry on Novara Live. “It’s a really scary time.”

Many users condemned Peter Thiel funding an AI startup to let rich users file complaints against journalists, calling it censorship infrastructure and a tactic to harass media with meritless legal costs.

@novaramedia Bro, “AI will replace journalists” is the new “blogging will kill journalism.”

Different decade, same panic, same venture-backed storytelling.

@novaramedia when posts start with obvious activist exaggeration and misinformation I stop reading. "genocide-linked software" which is a pity!

@MelissaMunro1 @novaramedia That’s their own ad, Melissa! Little wonder they would use AI slop to sell their AI dystopia…

@novaramedia This is what happens when journalists become client reporters, basically glorified PR people, instead of sticking to their principles. It’s what happens when media companies are owned by non tax paying moguls who don’t believe that facts matter, only whatever agenda is in play.

@novaramedia This isn't about winning. It's about discovery costs.

Drown journalists in complaints. Most meritless, but each one costs legal bills and time to fight. AI makes flooding cheap.

Harassment that looks like process.

@novaramedia A billionaire funds AI to silence journalists. That's not a legal tool — it's infrastructure for censorship. When the richest man in the room can weaponize algorithms against reporters, democracy doesn't lose a battle. It loses its immune system. Who protects the public interest?

@AssisterBlister @novaramedia Same. Can’t they see themselves?

@novaramedia Most of you "journalists" were happy to play along with unwarranted spying on Americans, extreme narrative management, and psyops. You didn't pushback. You did this to yourselves. The American people are the victims of all of you.

@AssisterBlister @novaramedia ‘When my biases are confronted, I stop engaging with the content that’s creating the discomfort’, that’s not something to be proudly announcing btw
