Astra is better in the Codex desktop app, one user argues

The user says Astra also works inside the CC command-line interface, but credits the desktop app with features such as computer use and voice.

    TLDR

A user recommends the Codex desktop app for Astra, citing computer use, sub-agent management, voice and non-blocking context-gathering questions. They say using Astra within the CC CLI is also an option, but argue that it means missing out on the desktop app’s capabilities.

@thsottiaux@twostraws You can use Astra from within the CC cli if you insist, but really you're missing out by not using the Codex desktop app. It gives Astra superpowers (computer use, sub-agent management, voice, non-blocking context gathering questions, ...)
@andrewmccalip@thsottiaux @twostraws Tibo, would you mind if I put ads on the desktop app? I just cancelled all my Claude code subscriptions, Astra is insane 🤑
@yishan@thsottiaux @twostraws How do I use the desktop app if I’m working on codex via my corporate account but also want to be working on separate projects in my personal account?
