    TLDR

Software engineer Dax Raad posted on X that one issue with viewing LLMs as humans is ineffective usage patterns. He pointed out that people cannot split a task into five parts and handle them all simultaneously in a non-linear way. In contrast an agent can manage this approach. Raad added that the agent requires no explicit direction to proceed if placed in an appropriate environment. The comment stems from his work building an AI coding agent called OpenCode.ai. He is known for creating the SST serverless framework. This observation came in a single tweet sharing insights on agent behavior.

@thdxrone side effect of treating LLMs like humans is people keep using them ineffectively you can't break a task up into 5 pieces and work on all of them in parallel and non-linearly but the agent can. you don't even have to tell it to, if it has the right environment it will do it
