Hugging Face launches storage service for AI data
Hugging Face introduced a storage service for AI data including model weights, datasets, checkpoints and artifacts. The offering features per-TB pricing, a built-in CDN, Xet deduplication and private buckets by default at huggingface.co/storage. Users can mount buckets on compute instances from Modal, Azure and AWS, eliminating repeated transfers and high egress fees common with conventional object storage for teams already inside Hugging Face infrastructure.
