Users expressed frustration with AI slop in long posts on X, assuming extended content lacks effort, authenticity, and readability after Lulu Cheng Meservey highlighted it.

@lulumeservey if i see another no x no Y, just <something> i m going to explode

@mr_james_c We need selective enforcement of X character limits

@lulumeservey I'm getting to the point that I assume that any post longer than 3-4 paragraphs is slop at this point.
What's the point of X if you can't be succinct?

@lulumeservey His initial post clearly used AI, but his response to me felt off the cuff:

@lulumeservey I got the whiff of that in one of "his" other longposts. Glad I'm not alone.

@lulumeservey :(

@lulumeservey What gets me is that it doesn't take that much time or effort to compose a post FFS. Some of my best posts are stream of consciousness and take 30 seconds, which includes editing time.

@lulumeservey How can we differentiate copy-paste ai text and people’s writing whose style has been influenced by using LLMs?

@lulumeservey Come on now, he's the smartest guy, Joe, knows.

@mr_james_c @lulumeservey I was always against the increase to over 140 characters 😤

@lulumeservey how is he supposed to respond to 10,000 messages without AI tho

@mr_james_c @lulumeservey Seems to have been a recent (couple of months), jump in very long waffling posts, that I can't be bothered to read. No middle sized posts. Trad short, or boring very long. Assuming this is algorithm/AI based.

@hthieblot @lulumeservey it's not x, it's y real x. real y. real z. the detail most people miss that's what happens when x becomes y

@hthieblot @lulumeservey Antithetical parallelism sucks.

@hthieblot @lulumeservey 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Not this not that but this

@lulumeservey Well, since his artwork predated much of the good AI, at least we know that was authentic.
