NSF selects nine teams to improve AI infrastructure efficiency

NSF says nine teams were selected for funding of up to $3.5 million over two years as they work toward deploying efficiency technologies at scale. One team says it aims to improve the cost and quality of large-scale AI-powered data processing. A team member says they are hiring PhD students and postdocs to work in the area starting in 2027.
