Anthropic partners with Accenture on embedded AI evaluation

Anthropic announced the Accenture partnership on September 18, 2026, as part of its commitment to embed independent evaluators at the company. It says both companies expect to invest at least $1 billion over five years to build evaluation capacity. A self-described former Accenture employee criticized the arrangement, claiming the firm lacks AI alignment expertise and would be inclined to say everything is fine.
