Leo Gao Expects AI to End the World

Leo Gao, an AI researcher at OpenAI working on AGI alignment, interpretability, and scaling sparse autoencoders, replied to @aryaman2020 and @BronsonSchoen on X. He wrote that AI will probably most likely lead to the end of the world, but at least we will get some cool interp papers in the meantime. Gao also co-founded EleutherAI.
